Exercise 1: Photoshop Playground

In the first exercise, we were asked to create an image in Photoshop by combining and/or superimposing several images into the one document.

To start off, I found this image of some mountains covered in snow.

Then bam! there's someone skiing. Always remember to colour correct! Colour correction makes images look like they belong in a scene.

Now some colourful hot air balloons float by. It is also important to take care of the lighting conditions in the original image. For example, the yellow balloon had to be flipped horizontally in order for the lighting to match that of the background image.

Suddenly the sun sets and it becomes night time.

It's morning again, but wait! What's that? Someone has left a giant Mac Pro behind!

Some birds fly over.

Some birds fly the other way. Upside down.
